Katrina Carpenter - Jean's Angels BHM Spotlight Series

Tune in as I chat with Katrina Carpenter, Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization Jean's Angels. When Katrina lost her mother to ovarian cancer, father to heart failure, and her two brothers to suicide, she turned her pain into purpose, and made it her personal mission to give back to the community, by providing with hot showers, hot meals, and clean clothes to the homeless, and support to children that have lost a parent(s) underserved youth, single-parent homes, or families that are displaced because of fire or domestic violence. Jean’s Angels assists them with compassion, sympathy, dignity, and basic necessities such as household items, toiletries, brand new clothes, she even provides toys kids, she even takes a group of children to Disney every year!
